The Swix PS8 glide wax is an affordable option for ski touring and training, also serving effectively as a base preparation wax. It melts easily and is very convenient to work with. The ironing speed should be approximately 8-10 seconds for skate or alpine skis. The wax can be reheated after cooling to room temperature (10 min) for enhanced durability. It is important to use a quality iron for effective melting. The recommended waxing iron temperature is 130°C. This wax replaces CH8X.
