The Swix PS8 glide wax is an affordable option for ski touring and training. It also functions very well as a wax for basic base preparation. It melts easily and is very comfortable to work with. The ironing speed should be approximately 8-10 seconds for cross-country or alpine skis. The wax can be reheated after cooling to room temperature (10 min) for enhanced durability. For effective wax melting, it is important to have a good waxing iron. The recommended waxing iron temperature is 130°C. This wax replaces CH8X.
